ABOUT
THE DISCO'S REVENGE
Rock Sucks is one of Andre Ribeiro's earliest original music projects, created to explore electronic music without stylistic or conceptual boundaries.
The name was born as a provocation inspired by the "Disco Sucks" movement of the late 1970s, when Disco Music became the target of strong criticism from sectors closely associated with Rock culture. Rather than criticizing the genre itself, Rock Sucks turns that narrative on its head, using irony to challenge musical prejudice and celebrate artistic freedom beyond labels.
That philosophy continues to define the project today.
Musically, Rock Sucks moves effortlessly between House, Tech House, Electronica, Disco, Indie Dance and other forms of electronic music, always driven by groove, identity and the pursuit of a timeless sound. Every production blends classic influences with contemporary aesthetics, balancing dancefloor energy with refined musical craftsmanship.
The project values originality above convention, allowing different eras, influences and styles to coexist naturally while giving each release its own distinctive identity, free from formulas or expectations.
Throughout his career, Andre Ribeiro has released singles, EPs and remixes through Brazilian and international labels, establishing a signature recognized for its musical research, meticulous production and ability to unite emotion with the dancefloor.
Today, as part of the creative universe of Eldir Electronics, Rock Sucks represents the foundation of Andre Ribeiro's artistic journey and continues to evolve as a platform for creative freedom, where music always speaks louder than labels.

DJ Mau Mau is a pioneer and one of the most influential names in Brazilian electronic music. Since 1987, he has shaped the underground scene with his unique sound, powerful performances, and innovative productions. With international recognition and releases supported by artists such as Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, and Derrick May, Mau Mau continues to bridge Brazilian musical roots with global electronic culture.
LUIZ PARETO

Luiz Pareto is a Rio-born DJ, producer and former actor based in São Paulo since 1989. Exploring House and its electronic variations, he brings his theatrical roots to the booth through playful wigs, changing them as the mood and musical direction shift. Blending innovation, experimentation and performance, Pareto transforms each set into a dynamic experience where music and character evolve together.

Formed by DJs and producers Dinho Monsters & Renato Poletto, the duo Monsters At Work has spent over 20 years shaping the electronic music scene, bringing their unique vision of Techno and House Music to dance floors around the world. Known for their organic textures, immersive atmospheres, and energetic rhythms, their productions reflect a deep understanding of groove, emotion, and the evolution of electronic music.
RICHARD SAVANI
DJ • Producer • Remixer
Producer and DJ based in São Paulo, Richard Savani has developed a distinctive and unmistakable musical identity through years of production experience and releases launched worldwide. His sound moves through deep and atmospheric territories, often embracing hypnotic elements while maintaining a refined and uniquely minimalist personality. Whether in his original productions or remixes, Savani’s subtle approach, depth and attention to detail have become his personal sonic signature.
FELIPE SÁ

DJ and producer since 1994, he has built a solid career performing at renowned clubs and festivals across Brazil. After relocating to Lisbon in 2017, he continued his journey with standout performances at Music Box. His music has been released on labels such as Magic Jam and Razor'N'Tape, and he currently serves as Creative Director of the creative label @GOTAmix.
RAFAEL MOURA

Rafael is a DJ and producer with a career built on the foundations of House Music and Techno. Starting in the underground scene of Minas Gerais, he developed his artistic identity through performances and productions, later becoming an active figure in São Paulo’s electronic music scene. Over the years, he has released music on labels such as Paunchy Cat, Puzzle, and Rock Sucks Records, while his productions and performances have helped shape a distinctive musical approach, establishing his presence within the Brazilian electronic music scene.
KIDCULT Aka Maicon Villa

Kidcult, also known as Maicon Villa, is a DJ and producer recognized for his deep and atmospheric approach to electronic music. With releases on respected national and international labels, including Conya Records, he blends influences from Deep House and Detroit Techno to create a distinctive sound driven by emotion, groove, and immersive textures.

Stop Play Moon is a Brazilian Indie Electronic Rock project known for its unique fusion of alternative rock, electronic textures, and atmospheric melodies. Orn, the alias of São Paulo-based DJ and producer Francisco Ornellas, is recognized for his refined approach to underground electronic music. Inspired by the timeless sounds of Detroit and Chicago, he has developed a distinctive style that blends groove, depth, and authenticity. His meticulously crafted productions reflect a deep respect for the roots of House and Techno, defining a unique artistic identity within the underground electronic music landscape.
